Don’t you hate it wear. Or worse walking down the hall and everybody is wearing what you are. This year Easley High School is taken up this policy. Pickens County High should never take up this mandatory policy. As high school students we should be able to express ourselves. This idea is supported by senior psychologist Dr. Alan Hilfer. "Clothes are a source of expression for children, and as kids get older, they become increasingly resentful of uniforms." The freedom of what we wear is very important to any teenager. Taking away what we wear is the worst thing you can do to us. We should have the freedom to wear different styles because nobody has the same personality. So why should we wear uniforms? Fashion is a big pat f a teenager’s life. We all want to look good and wear nice things. The color and style of the outfit determines what you buy. Time, money, and energy are spent on clothes for school. Everyone loves shopping for clothes and shoes during the summer, Christmas break, and during the school year. Our school life would be boring if we had to look at the same outfit all year. The first day of school is always the best. We all want to look our best and see what everyone else has on. You have your clothes picked out a week before the first day. If you take away the choice of what we wear, then you’re taking away our freedom. Parents think uniforms are cheaper and think it will prevent violence. Violence is going to continue after the uniform policy. Also, it will cost a lot more to buy after school and weekend clothes. This policy is a waste of time and energy even to think about. I think we should just forget the whole uniform policy. In conclusion, Pickens County High Schools should never adopt the uniform policy. The students of these should wear what makes them feel comfortable. More money, time, and energy are spent on buying two sets of clothing. Why waste our money, time, and energy. Forget,
