Introduction:
Background of the Study:
Next to water we drink and air we breathe, food is basic to our existence. Food is necessary for our health and well-being. Without it, life ceases. With too much of it, the digestive organs are overworked and the person may be brought to an early grave. More-over, it should be the right kind of food and the proper amount of each kind.
People need food to survive that’s why a lot of people nowadays, intensifies their own creativity and doing their best in food. Food is one of the main sources of nutrients here on Earth. The ongoing process of inventing food is very important because it helps us to learn something for our own survival.
Problem:
Are the nutrients of a dasheen corm contributes a lot of significance to the dish as well to Filipinos? What are these significance?
General Objective:
To measure the amount of nutrients contained in the corm.
Specific Objectives:
To identify if a dasheen corm can give gist to the dish and to people.
To provide a method of determining the amount of nutrients contained in the corm.
