Of a collision, however non will save your life if going fast enough, these are
Just to reduce the damage to the people inside the vehicle.
Technologies include:
• Seatbelts
• Airbags
• Crumple zones
• Traction control
All these technologies are in place to help reduce the effects of a collision.
Seatbelts are one of the most affective safety implications in place. They first of all stop a person during a collision from dismounting from the seat of the vehicle. How the seatbelt works is a bit of physics, inside the locking mechanism is a weight connected to the roll of belt, during impact the weight is pushed in the direction of the impact causing the lock to activate. So this very simple device is the first and foremost affective safety device to reduce the effect of a collision by keeping the people secure in the vehicle.

The crumple zone is the area of a vehicle that is designed to crumple up and deform during a collision, so absorbs some of the energy of the impact, to minimise the amount of force upon the occupants.
These three of the many safety features are all very effective but will not promise your life to be saved and or have after effects of your life being save. Seatbelts are to stop a person from being dismounted from the vehicle on impact, but they can leave bad marks and even break bones if impact is intense enough. Airbags will make a huge difference to an occupant on impact and may very well save someone’s life, but it is very common that the hard plastic plate that covers the airbag doesn’t hurt someone when the bag is set off, even known to break occupant’s noses.
This also includes the crumple zones with floors, also at high enough speed nothing will save an occupants life, but the higher the impact can cause the crumple zone to do no effect and have the engine push through into the
