The book I read was Second Stringer by Thomas J. Dygard. The lexile is 900. The genre of the book is Fiction. The main idea of the story is that When Warren High's star quarterback is injured during the season opener, Kevin Taylor takes over the position.
The main characters are The main character of the book is Kevin Taylor. The setting of the book the Second Stringer is October 1999, most of the book is at a football game. The story has a lot of drama in it because like when the first stringer got hurt everybody is making such a big deal about how bad their gonna such with the second stringer. The main conflict in the story is that Kevin replaced Rob after his injury, but Kevin lacked talent. The team had no hope, they thought their chance
