Secor Park Research Paper

Imagine walking through a forest full of colors like gold, scarlet, and green. Giant trees enclose you in a wall of solitude, and in the distant you hear a flock birds and little crickets chirping. I live five minutes away from this one of many great senses in Secor Park. There are all sorts of trails, animals, and times of year to visit Secor Park that make every trip a new adventure.
Secor Park Has eight different trails that run through and around forests, lakes and prairies. People label each trail with a color. The all purpose trail (labeled with brown) is the main trail that I walk on. All around the brown trail runs skyscraper trees with their little leaves that dance above. I could never grow sick of this trail because I always noticed something new. This only makes me more excited to walk on the other 7 trails 100s of times. The Secor forest Edge Trail (labeled with green) runs around the forest. The forest looks like a beautiful painting with little blots of green, orange, gold, and red dots that cover the canvas. The blue trail runs around a small pond. The pond is filled green moss and dangling tree branches like long earrings.
Driving through the park on the way home from the store and witnessing deer prancing through the forest create some of the most memorable moments. Viewing large animals outside of the zoo running free grabs my attention much more because I receive the opportunity to see the animals interact with their natural habitat instead of being caged up behind bars in a small area. Almost every time in the evening, when I walk through the forest, I will hear crickets singing in the background creating a very peaceful setting. The birds as well can be extremely attractive with all their colorful feathers. I will never grow weary of their little golden feathers fluttering though the air.
