Albert Einstein :who?
The most incomprehensible thing about the universe is that it is comprehensible. I didn’t said this statement. This was said by the one Who proudly declared himself as a “lone wolf”.He’s the fuzzy haired guy in 1925! He’s the genius who unlocked the secrets of the universe! He’s also a great peacemaker! Good morning respected sir and fellow students, I’m going to talk about the amazing Albert Einstein.

Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany on March 14, 1869. He is known as one of the greatest scientists who has ever lived. BUT, he never spoke a word, even when he was three! His parents even thought that there was something wrong with him. He didn’t play soldier or rough and tumble games like the other kids, he just liked to build card towers and daydream!

Can you believe that Einstein failed high school? When he first entered high school in Germany, he didn’t like it a bit! The teachers were too strict. You weren’t allowed to ask questions. You weren’t even allowed to smile! This wasn’t his style. His teachers thought that he was a lazy dog. Albert tried his best to get used to the school but… it didn’t always work. Finally, he was expelled from the German school. The headmaster sternly told Hermann Einstein, albert’s father, that his son would never amount to anything. As it turns out, the headmaster was almost right

A few years later, Albert tried high school again but this time in Switzerland. To his surprise, the school wasn’t anything like the school in Germany. It was almost the complete opposite compared to the other school. Graduation was a breeze and Albert was allowed to go to college.

One problem appeared after he graduated from college, he couldn’t find a job. He wanted to get a teaching job but after Albert’s lousy attitude toward the teachers, he was rejected. Luckily, his friend got him a job in the Swiss Patent Office.

So, how did Albert become who he is now? When he was five and sick in bed, his father

Albert Einstein considered the greatest scientist of the 20th century hopes to accurately respond to Phyllis’s letter that asked him whether scientists prayed and if they did what did they pray about. Einstein’s response is rhetorically accurate in the fact that he lets Phyllis know the answer to her question in an understandable manner and is not abrupt. Einstein’s audience is a sixth-grade student so he answered his question by saying “no” in a kind way. The writer Einstein uses pathos and logos to allow his point to clearly shine; he also uses simplistic diction to recreate his audiences understanding.…

In a response to sixth-grader Phyllis Wright’s inquiry about prayers in scientists’ lives, Albert Einstein employs rhetorical appeals to character and reason in order to encourage thought from her but ultimately answers her question insufficiently. Since it is already understood that Einstein is the writer, he does not need to establish his credibility. However, he does take advantage his reputation to make broad, encompassing statements about scientists that few others could. For example, an amateur scientist would only be able to represent himself, but Einstein can accurately portray the scientific community by using first person pronouns like “our” and “we” and making generalizing statements about “everyone who is involved in science.” Not…

We have praised Einstein over the past decades for his successful inventions due to the mass of knowledge he upholds. Although, what most people do not know is that he is the reason we have atomic bombs today. After the United States order to bomb Japan with an atomic bomb, Einstein lived with regret. Einstein observed the thousands of lives taken away with his creation and the destroction it left behind. He once said that he wished he had never ever created the "atomic bomb." “Einstein says he made only one great mistake in his life…when he signed the letter to President Roosevelt recommending that atom bombs be made” (378). The letter to President Roosevelt talked about how Germany and the other Axis powers were conceivably able to build an atom bomb and how he would handle the situation if it were in his hands. Six years later, the Americans produced an atom bomb and then thousands of lives were taken away. This completely went against what Einstein believed in which was pacifism. He later made it very clear that he was ashamed of signing the letter to the then President.…

I was a part of something bigger than myself; going to the state tournament was the only thing that mattered. I noticed in the last month of school that my grades had slipped from A’s and B’s to B’s and C’s. I began to notice all of the homework that I was missing in my Algebra II class. I can now see in hindsight that I had been enveloped in the culture of the modern American high school that Botstein described. If I was a part of a larger public school, I would have probably have fallen through the cracks and failed. I was lucky, but many other students don’t enjoy the same advantages that I do at Holy Trinity…
