Seradio: What Makes A Good Character So Important In Life?
Why is a good character so important in life? Good character makes everything in life so much easier. Just imagine going through life the best you could plus a smile. Having a good character can encourage others to do the same. A perfect example is how Radio inspired Johnny. Radio was nothing but nice to everyone even though they weren't so nice to him. If anything they treated him like garbage. Yet he was nothing but nice to Johnny. Johnny finally realized that Radio wasn't doing anyone any harm if anything he made it better. Being kind to people and having a great attitude can really make a difference. You just need a little patience and have an open mind.
There were some good and bad examples of character in the movie ¨Radio¨ The 6 traits (Caring, Respect, Fairness, Citizenship, Responsibility, and Trustworthiness) were shown

More towards the middle to end of the movie all of the students at Hanna welcomed Radio, they respected him. They treated him just as they did with anyone else but a little kinder. Which also goes hand and hand with fairness. Now, in the beginning, they weren't very fair. A perfect example of that would be when Johnny and some of his friends tied Radio up and put him in that shed and threw footballs at him. He was scared out of his mind.
Citizenship is the one that was seen the least. But one good example is when Coach Jones had always done what was needed for his school community. He was the football coach and he did what was necessary for his team. Being a good citizen and going out of his way for Radio. But then he finally realized that he did so much for the school he didn't have any time for his family. Radio´s mother showed a great deal of responsibility. She was a single mother, working two jobs with a mentally challenged son. She tried her best to do what was right for Radio. It was hard for her to do it all by herself since her husband had died when Radio was

When most people think of character they often associate it with the idea of having to do the right thing. I on the other hand believe character is more than just doing what is morally righteous. Our experiences, obstacles and most importantly, passion define our true character. Passion establishes the difference between obligation or choice and giving up or persevering. Our actions result from the passion we choose to dedicate towards different aspects of our lives including school, work, extracurricular activities and community service. Everyone values these aspects differently and that is what allows for each of us to have our own unique character. I believe people have a more powerful influence when they have a true sense of passion for what they are doing.…

Having character is being trustworthy, honest, empathetic and respectful. This means doing the right thing even when nobody's watching. I always search for the best in everyone because no one is perfect and we all have made poor decisions in our lifetime. I take responsibilities in my actions and others I am responsible for. It is difficult for me to admit that I am wrong but I still do because it is the right thing to do. I have had a friend who was suffering from depression and wanted to harm themselves. I was scared for them because depression is a disease and it is not their fault that they are like that. I had them speak to an adult and they are currently recovering. I was very scared that she had cut marks on her wrist because it could have gotten worst. I cried because I did not want to lose a friend. On a field trip, I found a five dollar bill on the pavement. I asked the first adult I saw who was slightly ahead of me if it was hers. She said that it must have dropped out of her purse when she was walking. The teacher was really surprised because she said I could have easily kept it for myself. I would feel bad if I took someone else’s money even if it was just lying…

I rank character second because overall, I consider myself a good person, however I am human and I do have bad days and make mistakes. I sincerely care about others and this shows through my actions. Even if it is as small as picking up a pencil that someone dropped or complimenting someone’s outfit, I go out of my way to make others happy. Like I said before, I am hardworking and will not give up on something just because it is challenging. Also, I have strong beliefs that I do not stray from, meaning I always try to do what I believe is the right and moral thing to…

The first and foremost quality asked of a good citizen is patriotism. He should have a genuine love for his country and should have a sense of involvement in its day to day affairs, in its economic policies and its international relationships. All this cannot be achieved overnight: it is the product of a good training and a good heritage and various other factors contribute towards patriotic feelings. The first among these is the right kind of upbringing. If a child hears only stories of betrayal and listens to a discussion of the various methods of making easy money, he is unlikely to imbibe any good qualities. The hand that rocks the cradle shapes the world. Honesty, integrity and self-respect are the qualities that can only be nurtured at home. These form the foundation of good citizenship.…
