Service Blueprint for Spaghetti House
I have chosen Spaghetti House to blueprint. It is because this organization has a well service and system to support it. I would like to share this operating system to my classmates for demonstrate how good restaurant should be operated.
There are three key elements of physical evidence we should be care as they will influence the customer’s experience.
Firstly, the reservation book is the key element of physical evidence. The purpose of that book is to confirm the booking of guests and assign them to a correct seat. This may definitely affect the customer’s experience as if the record of reservation is wrong, it may produce big trouble for guests. When the employee allows the wrong guests to take the seat, it may make the guests feel very embarrassed and affect the whole experience negatively. For Spaghetti House, it has a booklet for recording the booking of guest. We can see that the format of book is very clear and the employee also check it carefully.
Secondly, there are the FF&E of restaurant. These include seat, table, decoration of restaurant, and table setting etc. It should be the key element of physical evidence as the guests will spend most of their time in there. Also, these may affect the emotion of guests. It is because the guests may go to the restaurant for celebrating their big day. They may require a romantic or high class atmosphere of restaurant. Therefore, FF&E of restaurant will play an important role. For spaghetti House, it has a comfortable seat, romantic lighting for each table, beautiful decoration for the table and surrounding. We are satisfied with their FF&E very much.
Thirdly, the appearance of food is also a key element of physical evidence. Nowadays, people are focusing more on the food appearance as it can affect the appetite of people. Moreover, it can reflect the attentiveness of the chef too. A more fine and delicate food appearance, a more attentive chef is. For Spaghetti House, it performs well on food

    The setting of this restaurant was great. I was impressed by the second we parked our car. Good thing about parking at this restaurant is that there is a huge parking lot and it is free! I appreciate parking that is closer to the entrance because it is hassle free, especially if the weather is bad and for ladies in heels. Once we were inside the atmosphere was very cozy and romantic.
