They advertise all their awards, and pictures of work completed on the web site to give them credibility. Miss. Megan Duckett said “It’s critical that we have excellent back-office information technology to manage the business and deliver outstanding service to our customers.” Sew What? Made the investment in their computers and software in order to organize and run their business in a modern fashion. Miss. Duckett also took the time to educate herself by taking the required courses to improve her website design. She then hired professionals to come in and make the site run smoothly and professionally.
Miss Duckett used the Internet, intranet, and extranet to run her company. The Internet was for interacting with her customer to show them what she has to offer and to add credibility to her business by show casing her awards, and projects. She uses the Intranet systems to follow the finances and keep orders. The extranet was used for contacting manufactures of products needed to run the company. 2. If I were a consultant for Sew What?
