TITLE: Sex Education in Elementary School
SSP: To open up audience member that teaching sex education in elementary school is necessary.
STATEMENT: Young Filipino must acquire enough knowledge about sex to avoid early pregnancy and protect people against Sexually Transmitted Disease.
INTRODUCTION I. ATTENTION STEP: “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
II. CLARIFICATION STEP: My Speech is entitled Sex Education in Elementary School to give a words of encouragement to all Filipino Citizens and government that implementation of sex education in elementary school for Young Filipino is timely and necessary because kids are already exposed to sexual content at young age.

I. Teen Pregnancy statistics are remarkable A. Teenage pregnancies in the country rise 70% over 10 years
(United Nations Population Fund) B. 26 percent, of women aged 15-24 have begun childbearing.
(National Statistic Office) C. 14% of high school males report causing at least one pregnancy.
II. STD infection rates among teens are disproportionally high
A. Teenagers have the highest rates of STD's of any age group. D. The existence of AIDS has given a new sense of urgency of sex education in elementary school
E. Cutting the population growth rate A. Discuss the disadvantage of being parent at early age
F. Religion A. Tell student what the bible says about sex
