The violence in his music carried over into his personal life. Shakur was arrested many times on assault charges. He was in prison for eight months for sexual assault. In 2014, 18 long years after the whole shooting Chris Carroll a LVPD sergeant, came forward finally to say he was first at the scene. Still to this day LVPD have no clue on who actually killed Tupac. In this situation there’s a person name Yaki Kadafi who was a member of Tupac’s entourage, he apparently could’ve ID the killer. But, they never had gotten into that point because Yaki was killed 2 months after the shooting. And then there’s a former L.A. Times journalist named Chuck Phillips, who believes that Orlando Anderson, some Crip’s, and Biggie Smalls are responsible for the murder. Through Philips research he came up with three crazy conclusions about his death. Members of the crip’s were involved in the shooting as retaliation for Tupac’s beating of Orlando Anderson. Philip went with his gut as Orlando was the shooter, not only that because Philips then found it plausible that Biggie really paid the crip’s $1 million to shoot Tupac and supposedly also supplied the gun.
