Sheep By Valerie Hobbs

I am Yeung Pik Ting from 5M. My book is Sheep by Valerie Hobbs. I am going to do task 2 –. I chose to spend an imaginary day with Jack. I chose Jack not only because he is the main character of this book, but also I would like to appreciate his efforts for overcoming so many difficult situations in his life. I hoped to learn from his experiences by spending a day with him. Firstly, we went to a farm with a lot of sheep. He was so surprised and excited to see so many sheep appeared in front of him again that he jumped up and down and he used his whole body to express his happiness. I took him to the farm because this could make Jack feel comfortable and friendly as he had spent one-third of his lifetime in the farm with a lot of sheep. Also, going to the
He ran around the sheep and played with them for long time too. He enjoyed playing in he farm very much. He did not want to leave when we had to. He really cherished the moment when he could feel the most comfortable and relaxed. Jack was even more cheerful after he had been to the farm. So, I took him to a dog café with many different kind of dogs inside the café. I thought the dog café can help Jack make more new friends as he always rushed to escape and did not really have the time to sit down and have a deep talk with the other dogs. He shared the experiences with other dogs in the café and other dogs were amazed by Jack’s unique life experiences. I could tell from the dogs’ reaction because they all sat down and were focusing on Jack. After that, Jack played with the dogs in the café and I had a talk with the café owner. She told me that Jack really enjoyed making new friends and he liked his new friends so much. In the evening, I took Jack back to his home and give Jack back to Luke, Jack’s owner. What I learned from this day are that we should be cheerful even if we have experienced many tough situations and
