Shining Star Head Start Emergency Plan

Shining Star Head Start emergency evacuation plans are maps and information for teacher and students. That maps by the door of each class room tell me Mrs. Nancy where her and her students are right now. Then it shows them the exits that are closer to them so they can get out of the building safely without harm. Also above are emergency contact phone numbers for students, police, and fire department. When I think about emergencies they are a critical thing to have happen and the way we deal with them is just as important. The emergency plan is near the door of each classroom is must and knowing it and what to do is also. See teachers should not just know where it is, but be able to use the information to make their classroom and the daycare
safe for their students. Haven’t said that Shining Star Head start gave me a lot to think about when it came to safety. The main goal that I happen to come across was safety is of the most important to them. Throughout my visit and field experiences with Shining Star I see that and feel grateful to have a daycare such as theirs to be learning from. Safety is a big thing for all daycares and even schools to make an important. Shining Star did that and it showed.
