What happens in the end of the novel,is that when Bruno moves somewhere else because his mother did not think living in Berlin was an appropriate place for Bruno and Gretel to be raised their mother did not want them to be mislead about what they have seen outside their windows,but of course Bruno had actually seen something totally different for himself when he was at the concentration camp to see his new friend shmuel. The characters Bruno and shmuel seem to change when they did not agree on certain things for instinct Bruno thought his father was a good man because he figured that his father had great power over the area they were in and shmuel thought that people like Bruno's father were cruel,rude and disrespectful.Bruno never understood
his father's job all he knew was that he was an solider and his clan followed his orders and Bruno's Father is a commander But Shmuel felt as if he was being treated like a slave which in my opinion he was. There is really not a hero in this novel because of the simple fact yes Bruno was sort of a hero when it came to bringing shmuel food so that he could have something to eat and then he wasn't a hero because he wanted to get out of helping shmuel when shmuel started talking about something deep that he did not feel comfortable about so that is exactly how i feel about the situation of this heroic or not part of this essay.
I feel that is two villains in the story meaning more then one the first villain is Bruno's father and that is because he made all the people in the concentration camp basically wash in nasty things that the soldiers had to wear mask over there faces to put on as they poured in on them and he also was wrong for not telling his children the reality the truth about he was doing and that the place that Gretel thought was a farm it was an concentration camp now the last villain is the man that was flirting with Gretel and that was being so rude to Bruno and shmuel he had a very bad attitude and it kind of bothered Bruno to think that man would do something to Gretel; but honestly that was kind of sad how that man was being rude to Bruno ;but sitting at his table eating his food i would have been upset and would have said some words, but basically them two are the villains that i see so this concludes my
