There are many different ecosystems on this planet. They include tundra’s, desserts, grasslands, etc. However, the tropical rainforest is truly the world’s most diverse biome in both structure and species diversity. The Tropical rainforest is characterized by a dense growth of trees and by the continuously canopy that is formed by the broad- leaved Evergreen trees. There is also large amounts of precipitation annually and there is no dry season, which is a major factor for the organisms in the biome. A Tropical rainforest is defined as a woodland. Wildlife includes hawks, owls, wolves, and martens. Animals that are not so big will adapt to their surroundings, for example, the forest floor is scattered with litter, like dead leaves, so some animals can blend in very well. This is the most common and effective camouflage that moths, tree frogs, and katydids use to hide from their predators, like birds or monkeys. Some animals, like the poison arrow frog, use their bright colors to warn off their predators. Just the same as animals, the plants grow to adapt to their surroundings. Plants will grow very close together to help survive the threat of insects. Other vegetation is interacted with the animals, birds, and insect. The Fig Trees are one of the most important plant species because the figs produce fruit several times a year. Also, some of the young tree leaves appear red in the canopy or in the air and resembles a flower along with the Ceiba tree that is covered in red flowers, attracting numerus insects and hummingbirds which drink the nectar, collect pollen, and fertilizes the trees. Epiphytes and vines grow from the top down to get minerals from the forest floor, to keep from growing huge trunks to reach the
