Short Story Of Lila Ross
As he'd envisaged,, the newly separated women seemed up to a seduction, although, considering the minimal effort required it could hardly be called that), and Mark became more confident of bedding her with each second that passed. Possibly Lila Ross would have been pliable and agreeable, even without the alcohol, and drugs, with simply, after what she'd endured the past three months, the attention received from a handsome stranger, combined with the manner in which he remained attentive, stroked her skin, and leaned over to brush her earlobe with his lips when the bar filled and he leaned closer to whisper to Lila would have been enough to have her spread her legs.

However, Mark didn't want to take any chances, plus, it was quite enjoyable to watch the effects of the combined narcotics, and how forward she became. How, Lilia Ross, criminal psychologist, profiler, and a woman who could supposedly peer into a man's mind, drunkenly brushed her cheek against his, and of her own volition, invited a rapist and killer back to her room. "I'd

Mark Dubious, intense green eyes held Lila's for a second, before his knee pressed into her thighs, and he held her arms pinned with a forearm, and dipped his head. The killers lips and teeth found the soft skin of her neck, and the hot breath of his pants floated against her Dubious licked, sucked, and issued gentle bites to her flesh "I want to make you forget about your husband. About everything.. His free hand hefted the weight of her breasts in his palm, squeezing them, and pinched the peaks of her nipples through fabric, before it glided down her abdomen and came to rest between her legs, under the dress. "Except pleasure." Was the bitch wet for him? She wouldn't be next time, when that pleasure would, instead, be

While lying on the grass in the front yard, I imagined the exciting night ahead. Before long, Taylor and his girlfriend, Kara, arrived and picked me up. Almost immediately, I stood up and sauntered in my Duke sweatshirt and basketball shorts over to their car. I jumped into the backseat. Immediately, I was assaulted with the strong smell of perfume that had been sprayed inside the car because it belonged to Kara. Tonight instead of driving, she decided to let Taylor drive illegally without a license. As we drove off to Erik’s house, the rendezvous for tonight’s “Goatman” adventure, we saw a police officer had just pulled a car over. As we drove by, we breathe easier and relaxed because we didn’t see any more cops on the way.…

I’d tumbled off the freight in the jungle by Deptford and found a fire and seven fellows around it, and they had stew – somebody’d got a rabbit and it was in a pail over the fire with some carrots. Ever eat that? It’s awful, but I wanted some, and after a lot of nastiness they said I could have some after they’d had what they wanted of me. My manhood just couldn’t stand it, and I left them. They laughed at me and said I’d be back when I got good and hungry. Then I met this woman, wandering by herself. I knew she was a town woman. Women tramps are very rare; too much sense, I guess. She was clean and looked like an angel to me, but I threatened her and asked her for money. She hadn’t any; then I grabbed her. She wasn’t much afraid and asked what I wanted. I told her in tramp’s language, and I could see she didn’t understand, but when I started to push her down and grab at her clothes she said, ‘Why are you so rough?’ and then I started to cry. She held my head to her breast and talked nicely to me, and I cried worse, but the strange thing is I still wanted her. As if only that would put me right, you see? That’s what I said to her. And do you know what she said? She said ‘You may if you promise not to be rough.’ So I did, and that was when you people came hunting her. When I look back now, it’s a wonder that it wasn’t all over with me that moment. But it wasn’t. No, it was glory come into my life. It was as if I had gone right into Hell…

A fairly basic question, but when pondered upon, utterly onerous to answer. At the mere age of seven, second grade Chataquoa Nicole Mason wrestled with this thought too, when asked by her teacher. The now 41 year old middle class citizen wasn’t raised with as much privilege and ease as most of us had. Tended to by teenage parents struggling with poverty, Mason was neglected of the luxuries some of her peers possessed, including food.…

In the short story “Norma”, author Sonia Sanchez describes how she vows “to never agree again” because Sonia learned to never follow someone else’s lead. Sonia describes how Norma, one of Sonia’s classmates, “explained the factoring process in such an easy manner”, which reveals that Norma was believed to be a genius during her childhood, and was likely to be very successful (4). Because of this fact, Sonia admired Norma and wanted to be as successful as she thought Norma would be, attempting to follow Norma’s lead. However, when Sonia meets Norma several years later, Norma is living on the street, a “woman of four children, with tracks running on her legs and arms”, while Sonia “went to Hunter College”, which illustrates how the student everyone…

Jennifer Thompson was a straight-A student at Elon University in Burlington, North Carolina. She had her life all planned out: maintain straight A’s, graduate with a 4.0 GPA, and marry her boyfriend, Paul. Jennifer said frightened “Who is that? Whose there?” I said, “Allowing myself to think it must be Paul, or someone playing a stupid joke” (12). Then suddenly she looked and saw a stranger in her room. Before she knew it, she was getting raped. During her attack, she made sure she paid attention to her attacker’s features and his voice. The rapist began to hiss “Shut up or I’ll cut you!” he hissed, “while clamping a glove hand down her mouth” (12). He proceeded to brutally rape her, with a knife at her throat. “I’m afraid of knives.” I told him, “I can’t relax until you put it down. Can you put it outside? On my car?” (15-16). Jennifer stayed as calm as possible, trying to remember as many details about her assailant as she could, until she managed to escape. She tried staying calm and having conversations with this man and stayed calm the entire time. When she had the chance and knew he wasn’t there she began to run and was shouting for help. The scene was one of cosy domesticity, a man and a woman sharing breakfast after a night out clubbing together. Married? Lovers? Boyfriend and girlfriend, or just a platonic relationship, it could have been any of the three, and the scene would have been mirrored in many homes across Rome. They were normal. Or at least, together, they contained a semblance of normality, which to Kyle, was almost as eerie a sensation as was the morning after his first murder to know that the woman across from him, the one who’d have reason to never trust another man, or allow one to touch her ever again, had entrusted him to hold her in his arms as she slept. And held no regrets for having done so, and not just that. She’d also revealed details to him of her life experiences that she doubted to spoken of with such earnestness and honesty to anyone before him, and he’d returned the favour without a second thought. With her eyes closed, and her soft breathing, and the faintest of snores, but no drooling, she’d appeared so serene and peaceful, and the Army veteran hoped that he’d been in same way responsible for the lack of nightmares.…

Tom wondered for what seemed to be the millionth time why Dectives were required to dress like wall-street bankers or stock analysts. At least that was the expectation in public, however the moment he had the office to himself, he unknotted his tie, slipped off the linen suit jacket, and undid the top button of his shirt, then sat back in his chair, raised his eyes to the ceiling, and tapped the tip of a ballpoint pen against his teeth. That was Tom's usual mode of concentration and contemplation, and so intent was the man's focus on the new case that all else slipped from his mind, even the recollection that he'd texted his wife. Therefore, the sudden familiar sound of her voice, accompanied by the enticing aroma of barbecue, startled him, and he immediately shot upright. The sight of Lila elicited a smile that only widened with the greeting and kiss. "Sorry baby."…

Olds paints a picture of the unpleasant situation compared to a more pleasant situation. “-genitals like violent hands clasped tight barely moving, more like being closed in a great jaw and eaten-”(Olds81), Olds paints an image of the moment being violent, harsh and painful, compared to her sense of imagery when discussing a more pleasurable moment, “-you kept me sealed exactly against you, our hairlines wet as the arc of a gateway after a cloudburst, you secured me in your arms till I slept-”(Olds81). Both lines provides a vivid example of how she interprets both moments, allowing the reader to be able to recognize the significant differences in each…

She unknowingly buried herself in a pile of false notions. “Ah, but I loved him.” (172). She was unaware of what was really taking place; it was far from love. Her professor-student romance with Peter was unnatural but in her mind it was perfect. She mentioned her dependence on Peter for her academic future, without taking the time to really analyze this absurd image of love. She responded to Peter in ways that were out of balance and he even lacked consideration for her. Peter claimed that she wasn’t on his level, “he said I had a good mind but not a first-class mind” (172) and being her clueless self, she did not take any offense to it. They obviously didn’t have much in common and whenever they did have a conversation, it was long philosophical discussions and it would end in disagreements. The only release she felt from the frustration after their ramblings was found in the endorphins produced during sex. As disturbing as that was, she endured it…

The family benefits from Lina’s mother’s calmness by not having to worry as much. They were able to stay calm and pack up their belongings. Their mother’s calmness also prevents them from becoming scared. They did what the officers told them instead of rebelling. Yes, I consider Lina’s mother breaking the dishes an act of rebellion. She knew what they were going to do with the dishes if she did not break them. She loved her dishes and didn’t want the Nazi’s to use, sell, or profit from them. In my opinion, her reaction is appropriate. The Nazi’s did nothing to earn those items. She had the right to do break the dishes because they were coming to take away her and her family. She is trying to control the situation by breaking her china instead…

James looked up at the intrusion and followed me with his eyes as I sat down. “So James,” Nichols began, “Tell us about your relationship with Angelica Browning.” James’ hand scratched his nose and didn’t answer. I looked at Nichols. Nichols looked back. I returned my gaze to James. Skinny, with pale blond hair and light brown eyes. He looked as if a slight breeze could blow him to the next town.…
