Should Abortion Be Illegal
About 800,000 babies are victims of abortion each year, crazy right? Abortion a developing baby is murder, no matter how long the mother has been pregnant. Abortions are also dangerous to the mother, capable of causing many problems. Abortion at all stages of child development should be illegal around the world.
One reason abortion should be illegal is because it is dangerous for the mother of the child being aborted. If an abortion is performed, the risk of breast cancer is 50% higher than that of women who have had one child ("10 Reasons Why Abortion"). Since 1973, more than 347 women were killed by legal abortions that went wrong. According to to the author of the article, "28 out of 37 worldwide studies have independently linked induced

Embryologists say life begins at the moment of fertilization. They don't refer to a fertilized embryo as "potential" life, they already consider it a life ("10 Reasons Why Abortion"). At twenty weeks gestation, a baby's senses develop. This means they start feeling pain, and and their sense of touch is so sensitive, dragging a single human hair across the palm of their hand will cause them to make a fist ("Unborn Babies Can Feel"). The author of the article said "Surgeons entering the womb to perform corrective procedures on tiny unborn babies have seen those babies flinch, jerk and recoil from sharp objects and incisions" ("Unborn Babies Can …show more content…
One is “What if a woman was raped and impregnated?”. Another of their ideas is “What if the mother/parents don’t have enough money to take care of the baby?”. If a woman was raped, it is still a life developing inside her, and you just can’t throw that life away like it’s nothing, so you could put it up for adoption. If a parent doesn’t have enough money to take care of a baby, then they can just put it up for adoption, or they could make a family member the legal guardian of the baby until they could get a job to get enough money to take care of the baby.
Aborting a child at any stage of child development should be illegal around the world. The reasons abortion should be illegal are the risks the mother takes during the abortion, and the fact that you are murdering the developing baby. People around the world should start petitioning their country's government to make abortion

Abortion can be considered as murder, as the baby has a heartbeat and is a living creature. “At conception, we have a human organism, a human being. We do not have a baboon organism or a chimpanzee organism or an elephant organism” (Pasquini 5). This is killing an innocent living human without it having committed any crime. The idea of legalizing a process in which a baby has to pay for the mother’s mistake or be punished for simply being alive is one that is hard to fit into the mind of many. The baby shouldn’t be the one to be blamed for irresponsibility. Normally when a human life is taken from them, severe punishment is enforced and the result can even be death of the person who committed the murder. Abortion should be no different because the baby is as much as a human as anyone else on…
