There are many definitions as to what should and should not be defined as political. In addition, one topic might fit one definition of political but not fit different definition of political which makes concluding whether something is political or not difficult and often times, confusing.
For example, there was a discrepancy involving ‘Kingston Pride’ this past June concerning whether or not LGBT pride should be considered political or not.
