For years now, the United States have argued over whether or not police officers should wear body cameras. Recent studies show that more and more Americans believe that all police officers should wear body cameras. Many people have come out in support of this new controversial issue. For one thing, it would prove true evidence about any hard making decisions. Also, police officers wearing body cameras are less likely to use violence. Finally, it can provide safety for all on duty police officers.

Not only are cops hostile during an encounter with civilians. For example, there have been a few cases where citizens are involved in certain situations where it can put a cops life in danger. Police officers can show their risk and difficulties of every day while being work. It can be another way of showing achievement and accomplishments of a good police officer. Under those circumstances, body cameras follow the police officers everywhere they go. Whereas, a parked police cruiser has dashboard camera.
