Having multiple breaks during the school year would actually benefit the students by quite a bit. Most students get exhausted about how long they have until the next break, but in year-round school the students can take rest their brains with all these breaks. The students will not become as stressed with all the long, hard working days. This also gives time for one to refresh their brain. Not only will these breaks
help them out, but they can still retain all their information when they return to school.
Even though the students get many breaks, they can still remember things they learned from before. As if the the students were to have long three month breaks they won't want to even think about school. But with the week long breaks they will still have time to relax and yet still have their academics fresh in their brains when they return to school. These breaks could even be a good way for one to catch up on school work. However, this could even help increase the school's attendance rates.
Attendance is a big thing in school systems. School’s would like to have as many students present as possible and these breaks actually benefit that. By having these breaks it gives students time to recover for any sick days they may have and will still be able to return to school. This won't benefit just students, this would also benefit teachers. Even teachers need a couple days off every now and then.
Therefore, year-round school would be good because students get multiple breaks, they will remember things they learned, and the attendance rates would look better.
