Should Teenagers Date?
Dear Editor,

I am Chris Wong and I am here to talk about teenage dating. Because I have found that mote and mote of my friends have girlfriend or boyfriend. In this essay, I will talk about the arguments for and against about teenage dating.

The first argument in favour of this issue is that teenagers can share their feelings to their girlfriend or boyfriend. You may say that they can share it with friends instead of girlfriend or boyfriend, but to me, I think that girlfriend or boyfriend is their closest friend. Teenagers will share their deepest feeling to them. It is hard to tell friends that they are having lots of problems, but to their girlfriend, they can talk about everything. So teenagers can express their feelings.

Another advantage is that girlfriend or boyfriend can help with their studies. If a girl who always gets good results and she is dating a boy who has problem on study. The boy will obviously ask the girl about study and the girl surely will teach him. Because they love each other and they will give other the best. As a result, dating can have good results among teenagers.

From the above, we can see that there are advantages about teenage dating. However, there are some disadvantages.

The first disadvantage is that dating can be a waste of time and money. Some will spend a night talking on hone or sit next to each other all night long doing nothing. This is a waste of time. On the other hand, some people may want to surprise their girlfriend or boyfriend by giving them a present. They will do that on every festival like Christmas, valentine’s days, etc. As a result, dating is a waste of time and money.

Another disadvantage is that they may lose attention in class. Since some couple may talk all night long, they can’t even sleep. If they can’t have any sleep, how they can be attentive in class. Also, they can’t even do homework and revision. Therefore, they can’t even understand what the teacher is talking about in class and

Do teenagers today make the smartest decisions? Or do teenagers today have the opportunity to make many of their own decisions? In comparison to past decades, children in this current society are making many of their decisions primarily on the basis that our society is more guarded and protective. Children very seldom run around the neighborhood freely and have random playmates. Everything is organized and scheduled allowing little freedom for kids to make their own mistakes. This mentality consequently runs over into the parents dictating who their child dates. Once again this lack of decision making prevents teens from learning from their mistakes and taking the responsibility for their own lives. Therefore, teenagers today should be able to choose who they do and do not date without their parent's consent.…

The setting of this story takes place on the planet Prelandra, also known as Venus. This planet consists of many floating islands. The islands are quite beautiful, the clouds are purple and the sky is a golden color, the seawater is green and drinkable, from the distance the water looks like glided glass. The islands are not very stable, and they can shake if water hits the mobile islands. All of the islands are mobile, except the main island, which remains stationary. Maledil, the people's god, forbade them to spend the night on the main island; therefore the inhabitants of Perelandra stay on one of the mobile islands. There are many different types of inhabitants on Perelandra, dragons, exotic fish, possums, and unusual looking birds. Ransom, the books main character, mistook the birds for bat-winged reptiles when he first arrived on Perelandra. The tropical climate provides a pleasant atmosphere on Perelandra, thus allowing the inhabitants to move about freely, basking in the agreeable weather.…

The first source as to why parents should be able to have a say in their kids love life is from National Geographic magazine on the study of the teenage brain. Teenagers value rewards more than consequences so if they are having a good time with a boyfriend or girlfriend they may be more prone to make bad decisions in terms of what they'll get out of the experience to what would happen if something went wrong. Teenagers also have a lust for exciting and intense activities which can get them…

Teen romance is like a minefield – very few make it through completely unscathed, and the path is often strewn with the shrapnel of countless broken hearts. According to common wisdom, the reason behind all this affliction is because teenagers are capricious creatures who lack the maturity to resolve relationship issues. However, maturity is not the only key factor playing into why teen couples just are not staying together happily. Social media pressures young people to be in constant contact with one another, meaning they can constantly monitor the other. Maturity and social media are large factors in the way many relationships play out nowadays, but the same people writing articles about the topic are the ones forgetting the most important factor; communication. Building an emotional relationship and being able to relate and interact with your partner is the foundation to a truly satisfying and healthy relationship.…

In conclusion, teenagers need freedom and support from their parents. Parents would develop a better relationship with their child if they let the child decide when they want to open up to them. Parents shouldn’t forcefully make the child tell them everything and control their every move. There is a limit to how many boundaries parents should make with their child. Both parent and teen should be in agreement with each other. Teenagers are on their way to becoming adults, parents should treat them like…

Dating is a term that is used lightly in the present times that we live in. As a little girl, I was told to date before marrying. However, this has changed as I gotten older, and the world of dating seems much different than before. Also, in some cultures, dating is not an option. Some cultures’ families choose the mate for their child, and that mate has to have some type of inheritance that can support their mate and their family. However, America is called the “The Land of the Free”, which means that even in dating people are more liberated to make their own choice. However, there are pro’s and con’s to these types of dating methods. The Bible speaks of both of these types of dating, and whether they are right or wrong is left up to the cultures of the individuals.…

As young adults, they have to learn how to find harmony in their lives and to not feel out of kilter, too often. They need to learn about the Ying and Yang, the balance of nature and your total being, and take a Life Skills course. Too many times, and it is unfortunate, that students do not know how to make use of their time properly. Girls need time alone, and time for their girlfriends, even if they are going out with someone. An important rule, however, is to not allow a guy to interfere with much needed time alone, so that they can recharge and mentally cope (because many do get depressed), and guys must not interfere in anyone's studies.…

Dating over the years has changed in many ways. It once was the men/ boys would ask the women out on a proper date in order to get to know them better. Today, many women make the moves, and dating is out of the question.
