This journal takes a look at the difficulty of being an NCAA athlete and the detrimental affects it has over the well-being of the athlete’s health. This journal is in support of paying NCAA athletes with it’s underlying argument that the NCAA regulations prohibit scholarship athletes to work which on turn effects the overall wellbeing of the student athlete. Given that this article is for paying student athletes there is going to be confirmation bias which I will have to keep in mind when presenting my information. The overall goal of the source is to give reasoning to why student athletes deserve to be paid.
This journal provides an insight to the problems of paying student athletes as well as some issues that are apparent with paying student athletes. It also provides insight to exactly how colleges as well as the NCAA can allocate funds to provide stipends for student athletes. The only stock issue that I see within this journal is what I previously stated which is the confirmation bias but overall I will keep that in mind when presenting the information.
