Prisoners from the age of 13-80 have been held in the detention camp. And over 80% of detainees are held for longer than they should be after being cleared from the camp. There is no other way to explain how Ludacris this is; the system is simply illogical,completely unfair, and, unjust the system, if the detainees are being held as prisoners they have rights as humans to know why they are there and how long they are going to be there and if there is even any reason for them being there.
The prisoners have rights, just as any person does. Here are some specific rights for a prisoner at Guantanamo bay.
• Right not to be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
Observations by the FBI show that this simple yet important right has been denied to the prisoners at Guantanamo bay.
•Right to be entitled in full equality to a fair and public hearing by an independent and impartial tribunal, in the determination of his rights and obligations and of any criminal charge against him. (Habeas …show more content…
Because they may not be able to speak English. Islamaphobia leads people to believe that all Muslims are terrorists. And, this may even be the case if someone appears to have the same facial features as a person that would be stereotypically categorised as a Muslim person because they may have darker features.

Many prisoners, without reason were arrested after 9/11, simply because of the fact that they ‘matched’ the profile or a person who would have been a suspect in specific cases (using 9/11 as an example)

Prisoners do not get a full proper hearing, for this to happen they would need to be sent to America which has only happened once as June 1st
