Although there are many women who have enough ability to handle and fight in the war, they still cannot enroll in Military combat units due to some out-model stereotypes in society that affect the law. Women should be allowed to be alongside with men in military combat for three reasons. First, women should be allowed to fight alongside with men in the front lines if they have the same ability as men. Nowadays, we have seen many women become CEOs of many companies, a position that we have never seen in the past. That is because male coworkers have recognized those women’s talent and ability to become their leaders. In other fields like highly intensive sports in comparison with men, women also do a very good jobs. For example, female athletes can play very hard ones such as climbing, jumping, and weightlifting in Olympics competition. They show that they have capacities to do highly intensive jobs. In “Women Have What It Takes”, Barkalow says that “The training and physical-strength standards should be uniform. We have standards that we must keep.” Yes, as long as they pass standard physical tests as other men and prove that they have enough mental ability to stand in the middle of combat, there is no reason to deny them.
