Military Only For Men? You’re Funny. Many people throughout the world believe that the government should not permit women to be in the military. They believe that members of the military should only be of the male gender because years ago that is how it worked. Women stayed at home, cooking, cleaning, and making babies; men were drafted into the military to serve their country. Their argument is invalid as times today are changed. Women should be allowed in the military because they are capable of the same things as men, the military knows no gender, and America needs everybody that is capable of defending our country.
People say that women are not physically capable of joining the military because men and women are not built the same. However, that may be true; it does not mean that women are not capable.
