Should You Choose An Inground Pool Or Above Ground Pools?
Once you've decided to install a pool, the next obvious question is whether you should choose an inground pool or an above ground pool. And while you might think the answer to this question is obvious, what you think and what the reality is could be far different than what've have been led to believe.

Do you know all the facts about these two types of pools?

Are you sure?

Here are some things to consider before deciding on whether you want an inground pool or above ground pool installed.

Price

As you know above ground pools are cheaper than inground pools, but, just like anything else, you get what you pay for. You have to remember that a pool is a long-term investment; therefore, the money you spend upfront to have an inground pool

Most home buyers think of an above ground pool as an eyesore and something that's going to cost them money to have removed and then have their new yard restored to its former glory. This alone might cause them to choose another house over yours even if they liked everything else about it.

Safety

Above ground pools are harder to get into so in this instance, when you have an above ground pool, you could ultimately expose yourself to fewer accidents since you literally have to climb a wall in order to fall into the pool and drown. But, on the flipside, if you use a pool cover properly, an inground pool should be no less safe than an above ground pool.

Customization

If you want to create a backyard paradise, an oasis, a place where you, your family, and friends actually want to hang out, then you should consider an inground pool. Above ground pools only come in a limited number of models and there isn't much you can do to customize them. However, with an inground pool, the sky's the limit when it comes to customization and creating a backyard experience that best fits your lifestyle. You can choose the shape, size, and add-on features for your pool such as a diving board or an attached spa. Then you can build out the rest of your pool deck and yard with outdoor furniture and TVs, an outdoor kitchen, tropical landscaping and waterfalls, etc. whatever you want that will make your backyard paradise uniquely your

The Scalar Principle states “authority and responsibility should flow in a direct line vertically from the highest level of the organization to the lowest level” (Starling, p. 300). It can also be identified as the “chain of command”. In most work settings, utilizing the scalar principle is highly emphasized, especially in a military setting because it establishes an organized environment and different levels of authority within individuals. For example, requesting leave of absence can be approved by the first line supervisor because they are directly involved with daily operations. It is highly frowned upon skipping a member of the chain of command because many times issues can be dealt with at a lower level. At the same time, in situations…

“Even if you avoid drowning in it, you can die hours later just from breathing it in” (Chemistry.about.com). The reason for this is because the water is hypotonic. Saltwater could not enter into the lung cells because it was hypertonic to them, but since freshwater is hypotonic it can. When freshwater enters the lungs it instantly starts trying to equalize all the cells there. The lung cells can either fatten up or burst which causes significant damage to your health and can kill you. “Because capillaries in your lungs are exposed to the fresh water, water enters the bloodstream” (Chemistry.about.com). Freshwater is also hypotonic to red blood cells so it fattens and pops them as…

This article is about public and private swimming pools being contaminated with E. coli. Chlorine is not doing its job in sanitizing the human waste in the swimming pool. Human waste seems to refuse being sanitized. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) concluded that the E. coli came from one major primary source; swimmers pooping in the swimming pool. Researchers say such contamination is due to swimmers not rinsing themselves off before going in the pool. Scientists say a person carries about .14 grams of fecal material into the pool. Just one diarrhea accident can cause an infection for anyone who swallows a mouth full of pool water. Scientists suggest that before you go into any public or private swimming pools, you should look into the water and be able to see the bottom of it clearly. If you can’t see it clearly and it’s cloudy, they highly suggest no one should go in it. I think the author was very successful in relating their point. They showed evidence and explained in pure detail.…
