Regarding your complaints about the composition of the payments required, you are incorrect. You do still owe the parlor fees for living out of house which you agreed to pay previously. However, you were not requested to pay slush, or “social fees” as you have called them. The dues you owe to the chapter go towards the following essential chapter functions:
