1. Looking out for Sarah By Glenna: This books tell the story about Sarah and her guide dog Perry. Perry help her go shopping, to the post office and catch the train. Sarah depends on Perry because she is blind. Sarah is a musician and teacher, she is very out going and full of life. In the book Sarah tells about the time her and Perry walked from Boston to New York to show the world that blind people can accomplish anything with the help of a trusted guide dog.

Silent Lotus by Jeanne M. Lee : This book beginings when Lotus was born. It speaks of how beautiful but yet quiet she was. When she cry, tears rol down her face but no sound. Her parent knew that Lotus could not hear there for she could not learn to speak. Children where not kind to Lotus because of lack of understand that she was not able to speak. Lotus tried many ways of communicating with others. Her mother taught her signs so that she will be able to communicate. Lotus parents notice that she was unhappy and prayed everday to God for help. When her parents reached the city they heard music playing and Lotus begin to dance.
