Finland and The United States of America are alike and different in many ways in religion and music. The religions prove this point. The USA is mainly Christian branching out into catholic, methodist, Lutheran, baptist and protestant. The Jewish religion is also popular in the USA. Finland is also Christian but is mainly Lutheran and orthodox. The music is mainly the same but has differences. America mainly has hip-hop, pop, R&B, and country.
Finland has folk, heavy metal, rock, and opera. The have many varieties that they share including religious and jazz.
They are very different and alike with sports and indoor leisure. America has the big three, basketball, baseball, and football. But there are many other sports that America host including hockey, soccer, motocross, gymnastics, water polo, diving, handball, and bowling. Finland has some odd sports. For starters, they have a wife carrying sport. They have some regular sports also. They have hockey, soccer, basketball, motorsport, rugby, shooting, horse riding, and skydiving. Finland has many amusement parks and saunas. Recently they put a sauna in a Burger King for rest. The USA has many amusement parks and adventure malls for our fun.
They are very similar with life expectancy and beliefs. The Finnish life expectancy is around 80 years. The USA’s life expectancy is around 78 years. This is because Finland is a democratic socialist nation so there isn't any avoidable air pollution. Finland also has advanced medicine so there are ways to keep people living longer. The USA is a representative republic so we can go liberal or conservative every 4 or 8 years. Finland was a part of the soviet union for a while so their beliefs are pretty recent, but they used to be paradox with many gods. The USA has the bill of rights and the constitution for us to believe in. If you live in Finland you will have lots of fun stuff to do. We are different in music and religion, but we are also alike. We have very different tastes in sports, but find common ground in life expectancy and beliefs. So next time you want to move consider Finland for a nice long happy life.
