One big difference between high school and college football is the teammates that players play with. When they are in high school they play with there friends, the friends that they grew up and have spent their whole lives up to that point with. In college you meet new people from all over with completely different stories than yours. Obviously everyone on a team has to get along, but you also need to make close friends as well. Another difference is the recognition that teams get at different levels. In high school, if you play on a good team, then a few schools around the state might know a few players. In college, if you play on a good team, a good majority of the country might know a player's name. The difference in recognitions is a big difference for players, but most people strive for it. Next is the compensation. You are not allowed to get payed in high school or college, however you can get some added bonuses. In highschool you get absolutely nothing. In college you can get scholarship, free gear, free food, and probably some other things. The last difference is how you get to be a part of the team. However, looking at it from a player's perspective opens up a whole new part of the game game for most viewers. Many of the differences on the mental side of football as well as the physical side can be forgotten when you get lost in the game time atmosphere, but some of these ideas are what makes the game fun for players as well actually playing the game
