Hinduism views their soul as permanent whereas Buddhism believes it's not immortal. Hindus believe that there are multiples beginnings and ends which are the period of creation and death. Through samsara, they think that the souls are passed on each cycle of life. Along with the belief that the souls are immortals and after life is permanent, they think a soul leaves and enters a physical body. On the contrary, Buddhist do not see that a soul can enter a physical body but they believe that people are reborn into one of the 6 realms: god, human, demi-god, hungry ghost, animal, and hell.
