Louis was a great monarch who maintained power because he never gave up or downed himself to be king. He did as a king should have and many people lived up to the things he did. During his reign, he improved France’s disorganized system of taxation and helped out with the members of the nobility from paying taxes. Not only did Louis stick to changing the problems, but he also created things that was beneficial to the community. Louis created multiple programs that helped the arts of French Culture and because of this Academy of Inscriptions and Belle-Lettres.
