Six Flags
It was a warm summer day. I was looking out the car window and read a sign that says six flags and I looked at my cousin victoria and told her were here. She said I knew because she the rides while I was asleep. It took us like a twenty min to find a parking spot because it was a Saturday and it was crowded. We finally found one and got it. Since it was such a long car ride we all got out and stretched. Now we were headed towards the park. Me my cousin Victoria, Cindy, Kristina, Diana, and my friend Paul, mike, Stacy, Sam, and Jake were all so excited to go on the big roller coasters.

I’m afraid of heights yet I still love to ride roller coasters. Once we got to Six flags we already had our season passes so we headed to the main ride that we wanted to go on, “The Superman.” There was no line there so we headed straight to the first cars. I sat next to Victoria. Paul was behind me and next to Jake. The first drop was 220 feet straight down. On the left side I was right next to the river, on other side Sam was facing the park. For about ten seconds we were all weightless. At the bottom of the drop we were going 75 miles per hour. It was the best roller coaster I have ever been on. We all decided to go on it two more times in a row before we finally decided to go find another ride.

After the ride we couldn’t decide what other ride we should go on. I decided that we should stop and eat really quickly because we haven’t eaten anything in a awhile. So I was looking and any random place and I saw turkey leg. Then I let everyone know, and they all agree that we should stop and eat some turkeys. When we went to the line we all looked at the menu and the turkeys were really expensive but since we are so hungry we just figured we should just buy it and because one leg was so big. We all had one and enjoyed it a lot. Now that we all got something to eat we were ready to ride on some more rides.

So we were walking and we saw a spiny ride

We used Exhibit 7 in the Case documents to determine the priority levels of each class. The top priority class included the SFTP Revolver and Term Loan; the second priority class included the SFO Notes; and the third priority class included the SFI 2010, 2013, 2014, and converible notes; The lowest priority was the PIERS preffered equity followed by common equity.…

We went a bunch of rides and the water psk was really cool too, but after we dried up, my dad said that it was just about time to leave. I stopped him while he was talking and asked if we could go on just one more ride. We went back to the roller coasters and stood in line for the Batman. The line was short because Six Flags was closing in about fifteen minutes. We walked up the stairs and buckled ourselves in. The ride started off slow but when we got to the top, It shot down as fast as…

After that exhilarating experience I head toward the Superman, the one of the most popular rollercoasters Fiesta Texas has to offer. The signature red and blur track stands at one hundred and sixty-eight feet, while the trains cascade down the sudden and lengthy descents at speeds of seventy miles per hour, clocking in as one of the fastest rollercoasters Six Flags has presented. I climb into my seat and reaching up, clamp the shoulder restraining harness firmly into place. My legs dangled over the track as my hands gripped the handlebars on the harness, and my eyes strained to see the track ahead. We departed the station and climbed up the track. As we crested the hill we went along fairly level tracks, and then we plunged into the tremendous drop that threw us into a whirling circles and helixes that turned us upside down. Once this was over we were deposited into the station, leaving me speechless. Once I recovered, I then proceeded to explore the rest of the park, riding the Iron Rattler and cooling off at the waterpark.…

Six Flags has had great success over a number of years through providing a one-stop entertainment destination complete with thrilling roller coaster rides and an exciting atmosphere. In recent years, however, Six Flags has been struggling and is now in dire need of a boost to help regain its success in the Theme park industry. We focused our secondary research on past and current articles on Six Flags as well as the theme park industry as a whole. Databases and websites were utilized in gathering this information. In addition, we delved into previously conducted research regarding the theme park industry and Six Flags. This further allowed us to gather exactly how Six Flags arrived at its success, and ultimately to its failure over the past few years. This is information that could have been obtained through interviewing Six Flags employees; however, we chose to proceed with the more efficient choice of secondary research. The biggest issue Six Flags faces is its huge debt of over $2 billion dollars. The firm is on the verge of bankruptcy and has been pulled from the NYSE due to their shares falling below the $1 requirement. The firm needs to pay $300 million dollars to preferred stockholders, and lacks the capital to do so. Another key issue they face is their narrow target market. Six Flags has decreased their focus down to the youth, or teen market with less emphasis placed on appealing to families. This represents a huge loss of potential customers for Six Flags. Furthermore, there is a demand for thrill rides and rollercoaster’s that Six Flags can continue to benefit from. In order to meet both of these issues head on, Six Flags must not only expand their demographic…

Theme parks are the main motivators for tourism trips to many destinations and core elements of the tourism product. Competition in the theme park market is growing also in terms of an increasing number of parks, but also relative to other uses of leisure.
