A healthy heart is essential for a hockey slap shot. Hockey is mostly thought of as an anaerobic sport/exercise as players play in shifts that can range from 1-2 minutes. For that short amount of time they will exhaust a significant amount of energy that could sustain someone for a much longer duration. Performing a slap shot is an explosive movement. The slap shot can be categorized into 3 stages of movement - Preparation, Windup, and Follow Through/Impact. Consequently the intense nature of the movement causes an increase in your heart rate particularly at the follow through/ impact which is when the player actually will attempt to take the shot .…

    | Someone hunting small, fast, close birds would generally use an improved cylinder or modified choke, which creates a broad shot pattern that spreads quickly at close ranges. Conversely, someone hunting a larger, less mobile bird that is usually farther away, such as a turkey, would select a full choke, which concentrates the shot in a smaller area.…

In Richard Connell’s short story, “The Most Dangerous Game,” Rainsford changes his entire philosophy about hunting. For example, when Whitney disagreed with him about jaguars he said, “You’re a big-game hunter, not a philosopher. Who cares how a jaguar feels?”(Connell). Rainsford believes animals have no understanding of what is happening, therefore, it’s okay to hunt them. He doesn’t care if they feel pain or understand death and shows no remorse. In addition, when General Zaroff set the hounds to get Rainsford, he “knew now how an animal at bay feels” (Connell). Rainsford has to run away, set traps, and continuously risk his life to have a better chance at surviving. He felt the way animals do when they are being hunted and finally understood…

One of the great things about having a well-made shotgun is that they are not very expensive and will usually last you a long time. They are very easy to take care of and you can put many rounds threw them before they need to be cleaned. When you do need to clean them, it is very simple because a shotgun does not have a lot of working parts. So, it is very easy to get a cleaning tool in all parts. A couple of down falls to a shotgun is that your range is minimized to how far you can actually shoot accurately and kill game, (you can shoot slugs threw them around 100 yards, but there are not always accurate and when harvesting game you always want a clean kill). So the typical ammo is bird shot or steel shot, shooting birds from ten yards all the way up to forty yards.…
