A slave worked in a factory he was happy and satisfied with life but of course no master would let him stay like that. For exmaple,‘’Power he has over victims”(40) the slave owners thoughts shows how intimidated he is towards a slave that works for him in the factory. So, in order to punish him for his happiness the owner makes his life harder by putting him in a harsher unknown environment it demonstrates the emotional slaves go through by being taken away from a place they were accustomed to. Slaves have to get their work done or they'll get punish and that's when the emotional turmoil starts because they have to constantly endure the what if’s of their masters punishment. No matter what they cannot complain and have to endure the constant turmoil. It's a natural reaction for any human being to react negatively when a bad situation presents itself. A women reacted out of control when her baby was being taken away and the slave sellers reacted by beating her . Its the valid reactions that owners don't expect that puts blacks in horrible pain either by whips, beating or the feeling of
