Smoking: Childbirth and Greatest Problem
I believe that smoking is America's greatest problem. There are three main reason's why I believe this is true the first reason is that that are many dangerous health effects when it comes to smoking. The second reason is that smoking has effects and or symptoms on people who are pregnant. The third and final reason is that smoking does not only have effects on you it also has effects on others. Furthermore the hazardous ingredients in cigarettes can have many dangerous effects on your health and the health of others as well. The first reason I believe smoking is America's greatest problem is about the many dangerous health effects that smoking can and will have on you. Smoking can harm nearly every organ in your body and diminishes the overall health. The main health effects that smoking can have on you is that it is the leading cause of cancer and death from cancer. There are eight types of cancer that a person can or will encounter if they smoke this includes lung, mouth, throat, kidney, bladder, pancreas, stomach as well as cervix cancer. These are not the only types of cancer that smoking causes, there are many more. In addition smoking causes heart disease, strokes, and arotic aneurysm which is a balloon like bulge in an artery in the chest. The second reason smoking is America's greatest problem is the effects it has on pregnant women. Smoking during pregnancy affects you and the baby's health before, during and even after the baby has been born. When smoking during pregnancy the baby is exposed to dangerous chemicals such as nicotine, carbon monoxide, and tar. These chemicals can lessen the amount of oxygen that the baby gets. Babies born to women who smoke during pregnancy are more likely to be born with birth defects such as cleft lip or palate, prematurely, at low-birth-weight, as well as underweight for the exact number of weeks of the pregnancy. Babies who are born prematurely or at a low birth-weight are at risk of other serious health problems,
