Napoleon is the Stalin in the novel. He tricks everyone and tries to make himself credible. For example, Squealer always supports Napoleon saying, “Napoleon is always right,” all the time even though Squealer cannot really tell what is going on. He has the audacity to lie about Snowball. It states in the novel that he tells the farm animals that Snowball ruin the windmill when really the storm destroys it. He turns all the animals against Snowball and made Jessie’s dogs chase Snowball away. In the novel, he does not want the animals to take a break from the windmill because he is in contradiction of them learning. If they have knowledge, they can overthrow Napoleon and realize all the bad things he does. Through his speeches, Napoleon is straight forward about what his point his. That is a pro factor of him because he likes to stick to the point. The techniques he uses in the struggle for power is getting rid of Snowball and making him look good to the animals. Some words to describe him are bitter, selfish, a liar, manipulator, coward, and demanding. Therefore, Napoleon would not stop at anything to beat Snowball.
