“Soccer is the world’s most popular sport” (Borden 3). Kicking the leather ball around is not limited to any age, time or place. Soccer is the Great Entertainer for All.
In fact, people played soccer since more than 3000 years. In1895, the term itself was named out of the last three letters of Assoc. that refers to Association Football, another name for Soccer. Many steps are used during the game. To clarify, Sam Borden, the author of Soccer Basics, explains that dribbling, passing, trapping and shooting are considered the most important techniques of the game, these are actually its backbone; the more the players get better at them, the more the game will become enjoyable (6).
