controls that keep individuals from committing criminal acts- attachment, commitment, involvement, and beliefs.
As her adolescent years start to change-she tends to adhere to Hirschi's four principles. Attachment to living on her own, doing chores , more responsibility, not getting locked in at night; committment to getting better by talking to her social workers that she wants to get better, involvement with the church choir, singing solo performances: Beliefs going to church and learning religion.
