Immediately after the first breakout of Black Death in 1347, considering the lower supply of labor and the risks of Black Death, peasants began to demand higher wages, however, landowners were unwilling to give them higher wages. Such conflictions in aspect of economy result in the riots and protests against landlords. Although, most of those protestant resulted in failure due to the unparalleled armor and weapon between peasants and landowners, they have more profound influences over the political system at that time.
The dominant political system at that time was manorial system, in which landlords own their land as well the legal and economic authority, and have peasants work for them. Riots and revolts eroded and shanked the old manorial system, because those peasants gained more freedom from their landlords during the Black Death.
