Then they may face verbal abuse by everyday citizens or co-workers who call us: Spicks, beaners and wetbacks. Politicians have even instituted laws that harm Hispanics “In 2008 president George Bush launched a harsh program of border control. We provide our working hands in the construction of many buildings and houses in the States. One way of addressing the issue is to better educate schools and adults in The United States teaching them facts of what these brave souls go through. I would implement this in all schools around the US where they learn in full what immigrants go through so they can also feel some compassion and sympathy for them. Another just way of helping our brothers is by accepting them into the American community helping them and giving them jobs and chances to gain citizenship instead of just deporting whoever comes into town. I would implement this by urging politicians to change and modify immigration laws to help both communities. This way we could use some of the money the United States wastes on the Military into helping these people. By fighting the war on drugs we would also help The United States and countries such as Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala. This way we could increase peace around the world starting with the US and then going to other countries. One way that I personally would address the issue is by getting together with my fellow champlain students making an RPG game that would show the young population of the world what these people go through. That way they would be educated and more inclined to help our brothers and
