Social norms integrate to play a fundamental role in our society. It's a factor that helps influence our behavior and perception throughout our daily lives. Social norms come with the guide that gives us roles, social roles that serves the idea of how to behave in a particular social group or culture. This research project will conduct a social experiment that will test conformity in a different environment here on campus. My topic revolves around the question,"In a crowded area, look up for about 15-30 seconds. Do others begin to look up also?". The importance of this research is to learn if we can depict curtain behavior from student to a particular environment and if they demonstrate conformity through influence.

In all, I got 26 individual participation. I had the combination of some student looking up then just walk away, while I had other who looked up and asked, "If I was alright" or you "good bruh." What I found interesting, however, was that no one asked "what are you looking at" it was quite strange. From all the places that I choose to conduct my project, Terrero had the most people conforming, while, the coffee house had the least. My results also indicate that I had more interactions in the quad than any other place on campus. What I will say was that this exercise some spontaneous than others. For example, the coffee house had the most spontaneous and strange reaction out of all my trials. While, I was carrying out my experiment a girl placed her hands on my shoulders and said, "midterms I know." I found this interesting because it was the type of environment that lead her to that conclusion with everyone busy rushing to get their coffee and food the atmosphere was hectic. She continued to say that I should try the chamomile tea, that it helps with the nerves. Overall, though, I had people who ignored my majority of who passed by me asked a question and confirm or just
