Today I observed 2 emergency hearings and a detention hearing. The first hearing was a juvenile sent to detention for trying to commit suicide by hanging himself at his foster home, the foster mom had to cut him down, he was sent to FMC, assessed and then released, he was sent to detention for his own protection. CPS is currently looking for another placement. -Update- the juvenile attempted suicide in detention, he has been put on suicide watch.
