To retrieve the stolen crystal and five others like it, Rynah must “enlist” the help of four unlikely heroes from planet Earth. Solaris, using technology much like the beaming teleportation of Star Trek, transports these select individuals from different time periods of Earth’s history. Solon, the philosopher, is from the year 751 B.C., Alfric, the warrior, is from the year 1163, Brie, the lover, is from the year 2014, and Tom, the inventor, is from the year 2099. These six characters (including the AI spaceship, Solaris, who has a personality all its own) must team up to find the remaining five crystals before Rynah’s ex-fiancé, Klanor gets them. If Klanor obtains all the crystals, he will have enough power to rule the universe and possibly destroy it.

The story is very reminiscent of Guardians of the Galaxy searching for the Infinity Stones. However, I don’t believe that the author plagiarized the popular comic book stories. Anyone who likes Marvel, Star Trek, Star Wars, or Indiana Jones might find this story interesting. However, I found the grammar and sentence structure in the beginning poorly constructed. The book could have benefitted from a good content editor to polish it up. It was like reading the script of a B-movie with bad acting.
