The characters had been very much different. From the novel and to the movie, they had not even included the character under the name of Reuven. As well as, Rivka was introduced at the beginning instead of when they had met her at the camp in the novel. As well as, in the movie, the rabbi spoke out much more than in the novel. In the novel, the rabbi faded out of the novel as it went on. The plot from the novel and the movie was very different too. In the novel, the people caught escaping were shot, yet in the movie they were hung. In the movie, they had a Seder in the camp yet in the novel, they did not. As well as, in the movie, they had put pellets into the chamber to kill people, yet they didn't do that in the novel. They had other smaller details included that were different, yet they did not have any impact on the story, such as how they had to dig instead of doing their special jobs like in the…

Since the two are very different, I will tell you 3 differences and similarities that I noticed. One difference was Mr. Shuan, an important character, wasn’t even in the movie! He had killed Ransom and that helped Davie escape. Another difference is that Ransom didn’t die in the movie, or at least not the original way. We saw him on the boat before it blew up in the movie, in the book he died in the hull. My last difference is that The Long Mile Gang didn’t exist in the book. Some evidence that proves the flick wasn’t crazy wrong were (1) Alan did wear a blue coat…

There are many differences between the book and the movie. For example in the book hen susie's soul leaves the earth she touches ruth on the soccer field. But in the movie she touches her as she is walking home on the street. Another differences is also shown when lindsey is in Mr. Harveys house searching for evidence , because in the book she rips a…

The first noticeable major difference is how the story is told. In the novel, Jon Krakauer writes from his own point of view, providing his own input and opinions on McCandless, while the film is told in his sister’s point of view; she is scarcely mentioned in the novel, aside from the fact that Chris was very fond of her. The shift in narrators in a way limits the amount of information that can be delivered to the audience. Though the narration by Chris’s sister adds a more…

In most cases when there are two versions of something we can find differences and similarities, such as when a book is made into a movie. An example of this is the book To Kill A Mockingbird which was made into a movie, these two versions are very different but portray the same story. The movie does a good job in presenting the main points of the book but overall the film and the novel are dissimilar more than they are alike. The three main differences are the alterations of major scenes, the absence of characters and the lack of details illustrated in the book.…

Another difference between the movie and the book are the animals that attacked Brian while he was in the wilderness. In the movie the bear attacked Brian and destroyed his shelter and he wrestled and injured the bear. Also in the movie Brian got attacked by a raccoon. While in the book Brian sees the bear but doesn’t have any physical contact with her. In the book Brian got attacked by a moose and a skunk. In this event I discovered some differences but also some similarities like the wolf, porcupine and the mosquitoes attack.…
