They are seen as warm and dry, they resemble rocks you might find by the Grand Canyon. Sohone, for example, is designed as a large, shiny, warm marble. He looks as if he could have been carved from the sun itself and he even releases heat like the sun. Night, however, has a cool blue-purple color and the people are reserved, quiet and respectable. Animators made the people of the night resemble animals. Many are covered in blue fur and have skinny limbs. Mune is an especially small creature who has aspects of a fawn. He is quick and light on his feet. His cares for the young, helping them fall asleep and dream peaceful dreams. Despite what Mune originally thought he makes an excellent guardian of the moon.
