Additional Duty: My recommendation for your additional duty is becoming the Unit Training Manager. Being the Command Post Unit Training Manager requires you to be a subject matter expert of all functions within our job. As a seasoned and very knowledgeable Staff Sergeant I believe you would excel within the position but also will provide a challenge for you as well. Being the Unit Training Manager you’ll be required to interact with others and briefings to leadership. Due to your anti-social behaviors, I believe this will help you develop your interpersonal communication skills. Being more innovative you’ll be able to understand and share your experiences with Airmen who have no clue of what to expect as they continue to adapt to the structures of the military. Airmen at this point in their career are learning how to operate within a system that has striped their personal individuals and teaching them how to function within the guidelines of the Air Force. By you be more innovative you can be an example the proper ways one can function as innovator with a highly-structured environment. A Military Training Leader (MTL) is the second person behind the Military Training Instructor (MTI) who has the most influence on a new Airmen’s life. A MTL must be prepared to counsel and mentor the beginners who have very minimal experience or knowledge of how to deal with these significant changes all military members are initiated into.
