Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Spinal muscular atrophy [SMA] is a disorder in which, you have a loss of motor neurons. Your muscle symmetry is often off. In addition, there is muscle weakness in your spinal cord. This occurs in a hard time sitting up and holding your head up on your own. It is just like when you are a newborn and you need a pillow to sit on the couch. A few major causes of SMA are loss of motor neuron cells or nerve cell. This mutation leads to a deficiency of motor neuron cells or nerve cells. The disorder SMA is tied to the gene "SMN1" and tied to chromosome 5. A few symptoms of this disorder are- difficulty breathing lack of oxygen, difficulty eating, floppy posture, small amount of movement, and all these symptoms will gradually get worse over time. You know if you have SMA if you have trouble sitting up and holding your head up. You can do high fat diets to low carbohydrate diet 4 or, a low carb meal plan. Alternatively, you can even do a vegetarian diet. No environmental factors contribute to having SMA it is strictly passed down through genes and chromosomes. If you eat healthy with a vegetarian or low carb diet you can live through having SMA with comfort. In order to live with SMA you often of to take orthopedic physical therapy. There is about an average of 10.8% of individuals have SMA and or the SMN1 gene tied to chromosome #5. This is a negative mutation. This disorder will often decrease chances of survival. You often have difficulty moving or sitting up on your own. If a killer or someone looking to harm you targets you, it is difficult to get away from them because of your difficulty moving.
