Jenny and Molly are in Year 7 and play netball together in their local netball competition. They train one afternoon per week and play on Saturdays. Jenny has Type 1 diabetes and Molly suffers from asthma and often has an asthma attack during training and games.
a) Describe the signs and symptoms of each medical condition that a coach must be able to recognize. (10 marks)
b) Using your knowledge of strategies to reduce risk and manage these medical conditions, analyse the implications that a coach must consider during training sessions and games. (12 marks)

Due Date

Students are required to submit an electronic copy of their assessment task via Turnitin along with a hard copy of their task by the due date.
Any student unable to submit the task by the due date will need to follow correct Appeal Procedures, which is outlined on the Student Intranet Assessment Tab.
Students need to hand in an Appeal Request Form to the Curriculum Coordinator.
Technology malfunctions will not be accepted as a reason for lateness. Plagiarism will result in the deduction of marks or a zero mark.
