Professional home stagers help people prepare their houses for sale. But it’s just a top of iceberg, I’m sure that stager’s job includes a lot of different duties. The goal of staging is to make a home appealing to the highest number of potential buyers, thereby selling a property more swiftly and for more money. Staging techniques focus on improving a property's appeal by transforming it into a welcoming, attractive product that anyone might want. They don’t only clean house, they make it more attractive. A stager creates a new view and gives a new life for old house. I think it’s interesting job, because it’s something like designer’s job. I think, it’s kind of art. A stager must guess people’s preferences and make things more attractive for them.
When I was studying in school of art, I wanted to be a designer. This job was always interesting for me, that’s why I think I could be a good home stager. They can have a good results just changing some details in the interior and keeping the simple rules. For example, repainting the walls a lighter, more neutral color will make the room look more spacious. It isn’t difficult, but it gives a good result and many people can’t guess it.
So, the professional home stagers are creator of new life for houses and their owners. And I would like to try it one day.
